We do more than just book tours, for us, travel is a means by which people all over the world are able connect and help one another. As our name would imply, we believe in being more purposeful and positive in our activities, which is why Sama will be donating a percentage of its revenue to a charity each time a client books through us. The following charities/causes are some of the key partners that Sama intends to help.
The foundation is the first of its kind where domesticated elephants who are used for elephant rides are rented from their owners by paying them a monthly fee. The elephants are given a safe haven where these giants can once more be themselves. No work is given to these elephants at the foundation, rather, these burdened elephants are given a private holiday where they are taken on walks and bathed daily in the presence of helpful international and local volunteers.
